Savannah is one of the most-booked wedding destinations in the Southeast, and the venue list reads like a walking tour — the Mansion on Forsyth, the Perry Lane, Soho South, the Westin across the river, plus church ceremonies at the Cathedral Basilica and receptions in half a dozen restored warehouses along the bluff.
The transportation problem is always the same: guests staying in scattered boutique hotels and short-term rentals, a ceremony and reception in different places, and a river-ferry-or-drive decision if the reception is on Hutchinson Island.
