Below are the questions we field most often, grouped by the kind of trip you are planning. If your question is not covered here, call (843) 505-1047 or send us a note through the contact page and a person will answer you.
Booking and Reservations
How far in advance should I book?
For airport transfers in peak season, roughly March through June and again in October, book about a week ahead. Off-season, 48 hours is usually comfortable. Weddings, group charters and anything during RBC Heritage week in April should be booked months out, because vehicles across the whole region get committed early.
Do you take same-day bookings?
Often, yes. It depends entirely on whether a vehicle and chauffeur are free. Call rather than email if your trip is today.
Is pricing hourly or a flat rate?
Both, depending on the trip. Point-to-point transfers such as an airport run are quoted as a flat fare, so traffic does not change the price. Evenings with several stops are usually cheaper as an hourly charter, which carries a minimum that varies by vehicle and date. Tell us the plan and we will price it whichever way works out better for you.
What do you need from me to make a booking?
Date and time, pickup address, destination, number of passengers, and a rough bag count. For airport pickups, the flight number as well so we can track it. If you are in a gated community, the full street address so we can arrange access ahead of time.
What is your cancellation policy?
Reservations can be canceled up to 24 hours before service for a refund of the balance, less the deposit. Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations inside 24 hours of service are not refunded. Plans change, so if something is uncertain, call us early rather than late.
Is the deposit refundable?
No. The deposit is non-refundable and secures the vehicle and chauffeur for your date. The balance is refundable if you cancel more than 24 hours before service.
How do I get a quote?
Send the details through Reserve Now or the contact page and we will come back with a firm number rather than a range.
Airport Transfers
Which airports do you serve?
Hilton Head Island Airport (HHH), Savannah/Hilton Head International (SAV) and Charleston International (CHS), plus private aviation arrivals at the FBO. Full detail is on our airport transportation and shuttle page.
How long does the drive from Savannah to Hilton Head take?
Typically 45 to 65 minutes. We plan for the longer end in summer and on Saturday turnover days, when US-278 backs up at the bridges. From Bluffton it is closer to 25 to 35 minutes, and from Hardeeville only 20 to 30.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We track the flight by tail number and adjust. There is no additional charge for a tracked delay. If a delay is severe enough that you miss a connection or a ferry, call us and we will rework the plan.
Where will my chauffeur meet me?
Inside at baggage claim with a name board, not in a pickup lane. It matters more than people expect when you have landed late after two connections.
Can you carry golf clubs, ski bags or a full week of luggage?
Yes, but tell us the bag count when you book so we size the vehicle properly. A sedan that seats four does not necessarily hold four large cases plus golf bags. Guessing is how people end up leaving a suitcase behind.
Vehicles and Capacity
What is in the fleet?
Sedans and SUVs for one to six passengers, executive sprinters for eight to fourteen, and larger motorcoaches for full wedding parties and conference groups.
Can you get into gated communities and private clubs?
Yes. Sea Pines, Hilton Head Plantation, Palmetto Bluff, Belfair, Colleton River, Callawassie, Spring Island, Oldfield, Sun City and the rest all have established procedures for commercial vehicles. Give us the full property address at booking and we handle access in advance.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes. Child seats are available. Tell us the number of children and their ages when you book so the correct seats are fitted before the vehicle arrives.
Weddings, Groups and Events
Do you run wedding guest shuttles?
Yes, and it is a large share of what we do. Lowcountry weddings tend to sprawl across venues, with guests spread between hotels and rental homes. We run timed loops between accommodation clusters and the venue, hold vehicles on site for the late-night return, and work directly from your planner’s schedule. See wedding transportation.
Can you handle a wedding with more than 100 guests?
Yes, usually with a combination of motorcoaches and sprinters running a timed loop rather than one enormous vehicle. It moves people faster and gives you a fallback if one run goes long. See group transportation.
Do you work directly with wedding and event planners?
Yes. Put us in touch with your planner and we will build the transport timeline against their run sheet instead of improvising on the day.
What about concerts, galas and birthdays?
All covered. See concert shuttles, dinner and gala transportation, birthday party transportation and special event transportation. For a group night out we normally recommend holding the vehicle rather than booking one-way drops, so nobody is stranded on a corner at 1 a.m.
Corporate and Executive Travel
Do you offer corporate accounts and consolidated billing?
Yes. Meeting planners and assistants booking for several travelers can have one invoice rather than a pile of individual receipts. Contact us to set that up.
Can you hold a vehicle on call during a multi-day program?
Yes. Retreats and board meetings at the Westin, Omni, Sonesta and the Inn and Club at Harbour Town often need a vehicle standing by rather than booked trip by trip. See executive transportation.
Can you collect executives arriving on different flights?
Yes. Staggered arrivals are normal for corporate groups and we schedule individual meet-and-greet pickups against each flight.
Accessible and Special Accommodation Transportation
Can you accommodate a wheelchair, walker or limited mobility?
Folding wheelchairs, walkers and mobility aids are stowed as a matter of course, and passengers who need extra time boarding get it without being rushed. Your chauffeur will assist with bags and steady an arm where it helps. Tell us what is needed when you book so the right vehicle is assigned and enough time is built into the schedule.
Can you help elderly passengers traveling alone?
Yes, and it is worth telling us at booking. The chauffeur can meet them inside the terminal, handle bags, and stay with them until they are settled. Families arranging travel for a parent from out of state do this regularly.
Do you carry service animals?
Yes. Let us know at booking so the right vehicle is assigned.
Resort, Hotel and Contract Shuttle Programs
Do you run recurring shuttle programs for resorts and hotels?
Yes. Recurring and contract shuttle work is different from one-off charters, and it is priced and scheduled differently. Property managers, resorts and venues running regular guest movements should contact us directly to discuss a program rather than booking trip by trip.
Can you handle repeat guest transfers for a rental management company?
Yes. Standing arrangements for property managers on Hilton Head and in Bluffton are common, particularly for Saturday turnover days when guests arrive and depart in waves.
Long-Distance and Intercity Travel
Do you travel outside South Carolina?
Yes. We hold FMCSA interstate operating authority, which is what legally permits us to carry paying passengers across state lines. Savannah, Tybee Island and Pooler in Georgia are routine, and longer runs to Atlanta, Jacksonville, Charlotte and Columbia are quoted flat-rate. See interstate travel.
Can you do cruise port transfers?
Yes, including Charleston and Jacksonville. These are long, time-sensitive runs, so book early and give us your boarding window rather than just the sailing time.
How long is the drive to Charleston?
About two hours from Hilton Head in normal conditions, longer on summer Saturdays when I-95 and US-278 are both busy. We quote it flat-rate for that reason. See Charleston.
Service Area
Which areas do you cover?
Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Beaufort, Port Royal, Okatie, Daufuskie Island, Hardeeville, Ridgeland, Charleston, Savannah, Tybee Island, Pooler. The full list with local detail for each is on our service area page.
Do you serve Daufuskie Island?
We handle the mainland side. Daufuskie has no bridge, so we run you to and from the Hilton Head ferry landings and are there when the boat comes back. Island transport itself is golf carts. See Daufuskie Island.
Do you go to Parris Island for graduation?
Yes, and graduation weeks are one of the busiest things we do. Families fly in from all over the country, usually through Savannah. Book as far ahead as you can, because those weeks sell out. See Beaufort and Port Royal.
Licensing, Safety and Payment
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are licensed by the State of South Carolina for limousine operation under ORS #9758, and hold FMCSA authority under USDOT #3896899 and MC #1457054.
Why does interstate authority matter for a local trip?
Because a great many trips here cross the state line. Any run between Hilton Head or Bluffton and Savannah, Pooler or Tybee Island puts paying passengers into Georgia, and that legally requires federal operating authority. Not every operator advertising those routes holds it, and their insurance may not respond on the wrong side of the river. It is a fair question to ask anyone you are considering, including us.
Are your chauffeurs vetted?
Yes. Chauffeurs are background-checked and drug-tested, and they know the region rather than following a phone.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards are accepted. We are also one of the very few operators in the region that takes Bitcoin and Lightning payments.
Do you charge for wait time or extra stops?
Tracked flight delays are not charged. Extra stops added to a point-to-point transfer may change the fare, which is usually the point at which an hourly charter becomes the cheaper option. Ask us to price both and pick whichever suits.
